A New Bouquet From Gucci

When I arrived home yesterday I found the prettiest white box with a beautiful flower pattern on my table. Turns out my samples of Flora by Gucci were in. Oh joy!

Judging by the design of my blog I'm sure you can tell that I love flowers.

The Gucci scents are Gracious Tuberose, Gorgeous Gardenia, and Glamorous Magnolia. Each perfume explores a different bloom.

I loved each and every scent and I will be wearing all of them...but my personal favorite was Glamorous Magnolia.

I just love floral scents...this would be a perfect Mother's day gift.

Hello All!

I was suffering from some serious lack of sleep and thus came the dreaded under eye circles. I tried the

Included in the kit was another product I loved!  Ever since I had gotten pregnant nothing had solved the mystery of my suddenly dry, and cracked lips. It was torture. I think I tried just about everything on the market.

That is...until I met Neutrogena's revitalizing lip balm. We've been "best buds" ever since. Truly a wonderful product that does what it says. I love the scent too!

The nourishing eye liner is awesome too. It stays put for me. All day long!

The cute little pink bag to the right is Target's annual Spring goody bag. This is the second year I've received it. All I had to do was friend Target on Facebook. There are cute little samples and tons of target coupons!

The Lovely Rita Hayworth

I'm such a sucker for old movies. I find them a lot more interesting than anything current. I happened to catch the movie "Cover Girl" on TCM. I instantly fell in love with the beautiful costumes Rita Hayworth wore. The movie is definitely worth watching for those who love glamour.

Rusty Parker (Rita Hayworth) is a dancer at nightclub owned and operated by her boyfriend Danny McGuire (Gene Kelly). She learns of open auditions to be the Golden Wedding Girl for Vanity's 50th Anniversary issue, and eventually gets the coveted position. Her newfound popularity puts the nightclub on the map, but also puts strain on her relationship with Danny. He opts to not stand in her way, intentionally arguing with her one day so she will split up with him. Rusty's continuing rise to stardom leads to a courtship from the wealthy Noel Wheaton (Lee Bowman) and a Broadway show, but she still cannot get Danny off her mind.

Waity Katie No More!

She finally got her man, but honestly I think he's the lucky one. She seems to be quite an interesting and determined lady. I was bombarded with television programs all about the "royal couple" last night. I can't say that I paid all that much attention to them over the years, but she did hold my attention a few times when it seemed the press was bit harsh to her (I always wondered what the motive was behind it). Giving her names like "waity katie" or mentioning her weight. Maybe she was just "in training" all along. Being a public figure is the eye of the media isn't an easy task and definitely isn't for the thin skinned.
I thought William looked very handsome in his Irish Guards uniform, and Kate's dress was gorgeous, but one had to question her choice. Why of all people would you choose a style of dress so close to a woman who died tragically in a car accident, much like the woman who's ring you're wearing?!  Maybe she's of the morbid type. Also, William asked for Kate's title to be "princess", but the Queen didn't approve. Kate's official title is now the "Duchess of Cambridge."
Anyhow, I wish them all the best with their marriage. They look like such a lovely couple. Congratulations!
