How The Wrong Pair of Glasses Can Age You

This isn't me but it's a similar style of glasses
Valentine's Day is almost upon us and my generous fiance' decided he wanted me to have a brand new pair of glasses. I had in my possession a very old, old, scratched up pair that I could no longer see too well out of.

Now I always dread shopping for glasses because I have a hard time finding a pair that look somewhat decent on me. And of course when I do, they cost a small fortune!

So one day we went shopping and the salesperson went almost through a whole case of glasses before I found two that I was ok with. She knew her stuff (very important to have someone who knows what looks good and is honest with you). She suggested I walk over to a larger mirror that gave me a total full-body view. I tried on the first pair and you know what?  It didn't look as nice as I initially thought...it made me look quite a few years older. It literally dragged my features down and you know gravity doesn't need anymore help. I tried on the second pair and it was miraculous!  It lifted my features and made me look younger.

Now we get down to the price...it was expensive, so not wanting my fiance' to pay such a steep price, I asked if there was anything similar not in a designer name. No luck, but she was very nice and mentioned they had a Groupon deal that was great, I ended up finding one even better!  I guess I was meant to have that pair. And you you know the saying,

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
